    E30 Tie Rod spacers

I'm looking for some 5mm E30 tie rod spacers. I am finding threads from 2009 talking about them, but no one actually selling them

This is good for drifting because you can get more angle in your drift
Why does that just sound like a recipe for disaster? Or are you kidding? I hope you're kidding...

This is perfectly legitimate, for off road use only.

So what, you're spacing out the part where the inner tie rod threads into the rack? That sounds like death waiting to happen...

yeah, this is something I need to work on. Ever since my steering rack swap I have some bumpsteer. I know why, but I need to adjust the spacers heights to tune it out.

I don't know how safe a spacer that goes in between the tie rod and the rack is.... this really doesn't sound very safe, off road use or not.

Excuse the other noob question, but wouldn't that give you excessive toe out angle?

Well, obviously you'd have to correct for that in your alignment, which is why I don't get it... Stupid kids and their drifting, don't they know that's not the fastest way around a track?

more movement of the wheels with less input at the steering wheel.

4 wheel drifting can be very quick, especially in an underpowered car. Drifting in general though isn't really meant for speed. I'm not really doggigng on drifting though because I do like it but it is more for show.

Yeah, no. That can only be changed by changing your steering ratio, aka rack. The spacers will just give you a tighter turning radius it seems, it will still take just as much steering wheel rotation to get there. More in fact, because "there" is now further away.

It still sounds like a bad idea but to each their own...
