    WTB: IX auto to manual swap

    i need the transmission and the transfer case. i can source everything else.
    AWD > RWD

    Are you even sure it's ever been done? I want to do this as well, but...I'm not sure if the normal IS auto to manual is identical to ix swap.

      get a hold of darknight, he has done this like 10 times in the past year, will most likely have the parts as well.

            was done on my iX last tues thanks to darkknight .... fully swapped in 8hrs. u need donor iX 5-speed, not normal IS

                    I have a front diff + t-case from a 5 speed car, and the guy I got them from has the 5 speed trans that he would sell for a fair price.

                      i wouldnt change the diffs unless i had both. i dont think i have to change them... do i?

                      interested in the t-case. how much? could you inquire as to how much he'd sell the trans for?

                        no, you don't have to change them. but if you change one you have to change both.

                            I'll find out about the trans, and I'll have to do a visual check on the t-case tonight to make sure it looks OK. I was told it was in good working order, and I believe him, but I just want to look at it to make sure it looks like it's all there.
