    Early 318 front springs

Looking for the m10 powered e30 front springs. They share the same part number with the m3.

The M3 springs should lower you about an inch and a half or so, the 318 springs should do the exact opposite.

WRONG the 318i spring is exactly the same at the m3 one
due to weight the m3 sits lower

This is a fishy topic. The part numbers may be the same today but I don't think they are actually the same springs. That part number also references 325e's. Early 318i's and 325e's do NOT use the same springs. When you put 325e springs on a 318, it lifts it up a good 2-3". Those early springs also sat higher as well. The M3 spring or M Technic spring has one less coil and a lower height. The Bentley has all the spring specs. In other words, if u order the springs New today, they will probably be m3 springs. This doesn't mean that original springs from a 318 are the same.
