    New Guy - Front Valence

Hey R3V (what does that stand for anyway?),

I'm in the process of purchasing my first e30 from another forum member. I was introduced to the car back in the summer and have wanted one ever since. Well, I got offered a part-time delivery job (great for a university student), so I'm pulling the trigger on my first. Quite excited.

The car is in good condition, but it's missing a few things - most notably a front valence. The previous, previous owner did a late model front end swap, but is missing the front valence. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the modification process, but I think there might have been some compatibility issues with the original 325es valence.

In any event, I need a front valence. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just something to clean up the look of the car.

Also, I would be very interested in doing a euro rear bumper as well. If anyone has one of these bumpers, please contact.

    For reference, it's an '86.

    thanks,
    - Colin

Ah, I thought they were the same thing... What is the difference?

Moreover, will any valence fit, or just late model ones?

            many thanks,
            - Colin

any valance will fit (ec for the plastic es/is valance which can be made to work with pb), it just depends on what look you want to go with.

                  What's 'pb'?

I wish someone knowledgable would put together a thread explaining bumpers and their compatibility. In searching around the forum, it seems like there are a lot of us 'newbs' asking similar things - swaps and fitment.

Re: the plastic es/is, what makes it different? Moreover, which would provide a nicer look?

                  thanks,
                  - Colin

You can have this one for $100 plus shipping. Unfortunately I don't have the lower plastic piece. Or anything else for it.
