HELP R3V - no one has this Water Valve

Hey guys, I'm stumped. I just pulled my carpet after a bad coolant leak from the water valve for my heater core. I know there are two different types of heater core setups in e30s so I wanted it out before ordering the part. I have this style

and I need to replace part number : 64111386707 (labeled #16 in the picture)

I have tried BavAuto, Pelican Parts, and checked with my local BMW dealership (and they in turn checked all BMW dealerships nationally) and no one has it. No one is expecting to have it in the future. I reached out to the first two pages of companies that appear from a google search of that part number (including German and Romanian companies) all of whom don't have it.

What do I do? Any suggestions are appreciated.

You post in the Calif Chat Discussion forum under Bay Area and see if anyone who is visiting Pick and Pull (Car Dismantler) can pull one for you and sell and ship. Or hit your local Auto Dismantler and pull it.

I sent Yves at BMA Autoparts an email with that part number to see if he can get it.

That would save you from having to pull one or have someone else pull one.

The part has been superceded to this 64111468530. ebmwparts.com is where its at, they have ordered me shit from Germany even. If they cant get it your screwed. And they have awesome prices.

Yves from BMA got back to me and stated that he cannot get the part as it is No Longer Available. As the post indicates above there is another part that supersedes it.

Man oh man, was I glad to get that part when I did. I had to get it at the dealer and it was coming from Germany. I have yet to see any OE alternatives.

Thanks! I'm trying to get my hands on a new one, rather than run the risk of the same leak happening again with a used one after I spent the time to clean the carpet.

I don't know if you're looking for a new or used one but I can look at my parts car to see if I have that valve.

                        Let me know.

Son of a bitch. I'm positive I just threw one of those away. I didn't know they were so difficult to get. Good luck finding one!

I am looking for a NEW one. It does not need to be OEM. This valve is prone to leak at its age so a used one runs the risk of the same leak I just spent time to clean. I tried Rock Auto, again no luck. Will reach out to Zygmunt tomorrow. Thanks!

Anyone else got any leads on a new #64111386707

have you tried to take it apart and rebuild it? the one in the 89ix leaked and i found it was the brass ring that was cracked. some soldering and cleaning with the dremel is all it took. you have to dremel out the brass rivets to take it apart and replace those with nuts and screws
