I'm near 11542 on Long Island NY who ever has the cleanest steering rack and somewhat close I have no problem meeting with you. Btw I could also use some body panels in red like a drivers door and 2 fenders. Could really use a older model rear valance in good condition too. Would love too find a whole rear end clip with no rust so I could cut out the good sheet metal and bring this ix back to life

Well after stressing about this AWD thing i believe i need a viscous coupling for my transfer case. I was trying to back out of a spot yesterday full of snow and all 4 wheels weren't locking. The rears would spin and the front would only catch sometimes. Im new to this ix thing so i don't know if its normal. I performed a jack test and the car does actually drive on the front 2 wheels. But a buddy of mind said that the rear wheels spin slightly faster.

Is it normal for the front wheels to not always engage? Or at least take some time to fully engage?

Also if someone has a spare TC preferably for a manual please pm me. I could most likely use it.

The rear wheels should turn at the same rate as the front ones while doing the jack test. There shouldn't be much lag time, from my experience, if at all. Do you have good tires and are all of them the same size? Remember that the front differential is open so both will not spin at the same time.

I just replaced the tires. Its most likley worn down cars got 250k. i know the 4x4 works, i just think the VC is on it way soon. since they don't actually lock up. But what do i know i came from a bmw e36 m3 haha
