Looking for a 3.46 LSD.

You're no likely to find that ratio in an E30/E28 case unless someone has swapped Ring & Pinion gears from another diff.

3.25 diffs are easier to find, and will bolt right in- provided it's from an E28.

I've got a 3.25 LSD FS in good shape- $275 shipped to a business address.

I don't mind swapping the internals, i've swapped a 3.23 from an MRoad into a 3.91 E36 case before. Very easy.

I'll be doing a lot of highway driving, and could use the extra MPG. Thanks though.

I've got a 3.15 Ring and pinion gear set that'll fit in an E30 case- I'll sell for $125 shipped.

Just curious, when you did the 3.23-3.91 swap did you have to change any shims, or did you just stick it in and hope for the best? I've always heard that you must get the R&P shimmed up for proper backlash, etc, or you will end up with a noisy diff.....
