Reverse radio harness

Hi all I’m trying to wire up a vdo continental radio, I’m in the hunt for a reverse e30 radio harness if there is someone who can make and ship one out please let me know, I want to install this radio without chopping up the radio harness. Thanks

There is no radio harness on the E30, that started on the E36. You can take a reverse harness from an E36 and wire that to your E30 wiring. Then take a E36 radio harness and wire to your new radio, that would make a good disconnect for you. Keep in mind there is very little room in the radio cavity so if you go this route, do not be surprised if the radio has difficultly fitting back into the dash.

You can buy an E30-to-E36 adapter. And then buy an E36-to-ISO adapter - this one is ubiquitous.

I would cut the E30-to-E36 adapter and solder to it the ISO plugs that come with the radio.
