Would anyone be interested in a rear diff for a newer 3 series or 1 series?

My brother got this diff in a trade. I don't have a use for it. I was doing some searching online and I believe it will fit a F30 or F22 or F21.

I'm thinking $400. shipping would be on the buyer. Let me know if anyone is interested.

you might try an F series forum. these are kinda useless unless it's from an automatic and you have a manual F series - they'll have a shorter gear ratio. but the ring/pinions are welded and there's no LSD, so otherwise nobody wants them.

Yeah I figure I most familiar with this forum. So I thought I would ask. I'm pretty sure this is out of a auto. It's easier to find autos these days. Nothing is welded on this diff.

It is definitely welded from the factory. I'm not talking about people who weld the spider gears to lock the diff - the ring gear is welded to the carrier, instead of bolted. BMW changed to welded carriers instead of bolted like 10 years ago. Basically it's a boat anchor if something goes wrong because you can't rebuild it. :(
