Does it have the DIS program already installed on it?

As he is not selling it, you can purchase a T30 for around 100 bucks depending on where you look. Local PC recycle places get them in all the time. Hell I have three of the things in different configs for coding/diag.

Floating around on torrents you can find the DIS/SSS Ghost image to toss on the laptop and you are good to go

I used to work at a PC repair shop and a customer brought one in.

He got really creeped out when I got unreasonably excited about the laptop..hehe
He also wouldn't sell it to me. Eh, I tried.

                  **SOLD**

I have a T61 I can sell. It's a lot faster than a T30. I can install DIS for you under VMware on Windows 7 if you want. TIS too.

Here's the info on the T61:
It is the rare 4:3 standard 14" version (model 8895-CTO). The last one made. (If you don't know, most T61's are widescreen as are every ThinkPad made since.) It has the reliable Intel GMA X3100 GPU as opposed to the self-destructing nVidia GPU's. The condition of the unit is very nice! No major scratches and no broken fan grills. I've just replaced the fan with a new one! I'll also include a new battery! It has the following specs: 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB DDR2 ram, 160GB hard drive, CDRW/DVD combo drive, Intel Wireless card, modem, 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA out port, PCMCIA (CardBus) slot, Smart Card reader, audio in & mic. I've flashed with bios with a stable modded version that allows Penryn CPU support, SATA II 3.0GB/s, SLIC 2.1, wireless card whitelist removed, & Dual-IDA support. The bios is not password protected. It will come with an original Lenovo A/C adapter and a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. $250 shipped.
