    Feeler FS: my kopis

So, something came up that I must have. Seeing how much demand there is out there for a full set of Kopis with Kumho Ecstas and centercaps.

    Specs:

4x Kopi Alpina-pattern wheels. 17x7.5 et25, 5-lug casting. Condition: one wheel has scratches on the spokes from the PO, along with slight to medium curbing. One wheel has scratches on the lip. The last two wheels are in great condition visually. All four are slightly out of round, but completely driveable (I bought them like that...2 years ago, and put 10K miles on them with no problems). Comes with five centercaps. Direct fit, no rubbing except on hard bumps in the rear. I am making the damage sound more extensive than it is...

4x Kumho Ecstas 215/40R17 tires with about 15K miles on them. Plenty of tread left. Mounted on the wheels.

This is a feeler, wheels are not for sale *yet* until I get a feel for the demand. Asking price is $500, no shipping because I have no time to deal with it, unfortunately.

I do have the centercaps, but haven't taken any photos with them, unfortunately. If anyone has any photos of them from Dockweiler, feel free to put them up :)

Balanced "to the best of our ability", as the shop said.

OP takes extremely good care of these wheels.

What came up that you want?

just curious what causes the out of round ? Is it the 5lug casting with only 4 lugs ? Or is it just because they are defective in some other way ?

It's because the car I got them off got into a major front-end crash, probably. Also, they're relatively soft wheels.
