Would removing the anti-chatter clip give it enough clearance? This is done on E30M3's for clearance when mounting some 17" style 5's.

I have the same 5 lug et 23 wheel & compared it too a 4 lug oem mesh. It looks like a 4mm spacer would work fine. As einstein57 shows in the photo, it would have no problem rubbing the well lip, even with the spacer. As you said, if you could have the 4-5mm spacer made with the hub centric of 57.1, I think you would have a nice set-up. I'm really sorry kylebes1 is throwing in the towel.

Sounds like you are going to continue to follow it through einstein57.

What do you mean he is close? I haven't seen him post any pictures. Einstein is the only one actually doing something. Kylebes bailed when he started to try to get everyone on board with the RGR knock offs.

this was supposed to be a project for direct fit, other than the centering rings.

Cannot be done so the towel is down.

I'll sell the wheels I have and keep rollin 14's

werd, this shouldn't be canned just because its not 100% direct.

i think that all of us here understand that and can live with it because having 16x8 weaves would be pretty damn bitchin.

What was the cost for the fill and drill? I would feel fine about bolting those up to my car (in reference to centerbore and lug holes)

I bet this would be a direct fit for Massive's corado rotor BBK but wou could not run a very wide tire because of strut clearance. I'll check. I'm awaiting response from the machine shop on prices for the hub centric spacers. For the time being i'm just gonna toss some spacers on there.

Its not hitting the caliper, just the bracket from what i can tell.

Fuck Nigel, you are a fucking genious and you had the balls to get this done not just talk about it. The funny thing is you jumped on the vanwagon and went through with the project as opposed to the OP, he didn't even get the wheels to the machine shop.

einstein...great work! I'm curious as to who did the work for you and if I could find a shop on the east coast to do the same. That looks bad @$$ and totally awesome, I don't think I would care too much about a 3/5mm spacer either.

It's less about balls really than having time. I really did not expect there to be such a positive reaction.

The other thing is I thought I had four or five sets which would have made this financially feasible, but I actually have only 9 wheels which means if I wanted a set I could only sell 1 set.

The fact is any machine shop that will mess with wheels will do this for you for about $400.00. The $150 to ship them, then $50 for me, then $100 to recoupe the cost of the wheels themselves.

Sorry for blue balling you all. I will probably get a set done for myself one day, but I have other things that are more important.

Just shave the bracket like in the picture i posted earlier and it will be fine. E30this (AKA White325is) hasn't had any problems with his.
