yeah, and actually it won't affect your ingition timing at all if you're using the cap/rotor, unless you really adjust it too far. It's only purpose is to fine tune your powerband, presumably after you've pretty much done everything else.

By Surfacing your head or decking your block, your motor, when set on "standard" timing marks will be set "retarded" so you would want to ADVANCE the adjustable cam gear to get things back on track with where they belong.Comment
