Mine came yesterday but I wont be installing then till I get some new strut top mounts. IE is having a black Friday sale with 15% off I think. Probably go with then.

I am tempted to get these for a laugh to throw in when i overall my other suspension components prior to getting some GC's or the like.

My only concern is the couple of guys on the last page that spoke about issues with bottoming out the shocks/banging etc. Can anyone else comment on this?

i know this is a weird question to ask..but has anyone chopped a coil off the front of these springs before installing the coilovers? the setup looks good and the drop is nice, but i am looking for a little bit more low than the lowest setting of these. i was thinking to chomp off 1/2-1 coil, no more.

You'll be bottoming out(no suspension travel) and ruin your shocks possibly.

Drop the front more? The front will go so low it is essentially not drive-able...

I've been reading that the rear is what doesn't lower all that great whereas the fronts can go really low (ie. such that you can't even drive the car).

Oh, okay. I just wasn't sure how low these would actually go in the front. On eBay, they say the max low setting is only 1.7 inches..and I was looking for more of a drop than that. I picked up a set of 15" BBS RS wheels for the car a few weeks ago..the previous owner put stretched tires on them and when I test fitted one wheel in the front, the wheel/fender gap was insane. I am thinking of putting regular profile and correct 15" tires on them, and then just drop the JOM coilovers as low as I can get them while still being drivable.

I have six threads left in the front and need to roll my fenders. Rears just have the bottom half of the adjuster just so I won't have any noise back there. On my vert, I have 3" from the ground to my rockers and 4" in the back on stock weaves. Hope that gives you guys an idea of setting height.

I think I've posted pics here, but if anyone with a vert wants some for reference, PM me, I have plenty.
