How do I get my stock struts out? I see threads? Please help!

Also, my driver side tie rod and control arm won't come out with a pickle fork. Any tips? The passenger came out easily :( NEED HELP PLEASE.

You dont need to take the spindle off the control arm I left mine on. As for the pickle fork, is it bottomed out or just not budging? To get the stuck strut out you need to unscrew the collar that holds it in the tube where it slides. Kind of hard to explain. The coilovers came with a tool that helps remove it but I had to heat mine up with a torch and use a pipe wrench.

The fork is all the way in and not budgeting.

OMG! After pounding on the fork I finally got it out. Wow. I destroyed the boots tho :( hard to unscrew the old struts :( slowly but surely I'll get it done.

I left all of the spring seats and stuff in, pretty sure she's all the way down, though some of your whips look a lot lower. Im pretty pumped with the look and the ride! When i get some 15"s on it'll look much better, but this is how it sits now:

I had to use a torch to heat the collars up. I pounded on them and drenched in pb blaster but they wouldn't budge till I heated them and used a pipe wrench. Then they came right out.

Don't go too hardcore with the heat as the pressurized shock is in there. You don't want that to explode. I didn't have to heat mine up much at all.

Well we'll see. They've been soaking in penetrating fluid for a week.

Got the front done and rears going in at midnight. I have 5 threads on the top in the front and it seems too high. What the lowest safest setting? (threads)

I have about six threads left on the bottom. About perfect for stock weaves and I don't rub one bit.

Just got mine all buttoned up! I'm extremely happy with the outcome in both ride height and ride quality! About to head out to take some pics..will post upon my return!
