I knew I would get flack for that! ;) - I was already in p-shop, and it took me 10 seconds - so I said "what the heck"

Feel free to use the pics if you would like.

got my kit a bit ago - I'm planning on doing a DIY or install video. Should be able to make it so that anyone will be able to get this going in just about an hour or two.

I'm really liking this kit. I've always had a thing for the "diamond" e46 keys. They are really sexy. The kit quality is on par with any of the major brands.

    Some eyecandy for now.

According to the manufacturer the alarm comes set up for auto re-arm. To turn it off you connect the jumper to JP1.

well definately cant condem it as defective till in know i have it wired/jumpered properly. so will wait for more info for sure ,definately think better descriptions of what to wire everything to is needed (exactly what signal every wire needs to see) will help as reading/deciphering the chinenglish manual is difficult at best ,almost feel like something has been lost in translation. maybe even a board level diagram? and maybe once a few others try installing we will see the common issues and solutions and i will know its not just mine...i seem to be the first to mention anything about installing this newest system so far

sure like the keyless entry function so far

Been emailing the manufacture but the sales department is useless. I'll get back to you once they ask someone who actually knows something about the products they make. If you think it may be a defective unit send it back and i'll exchange it for a new one.

well thats all and good but after 20 sec the Auto-arming does it thing and tries to lock the doors even if they are open ,so unless your really fast and dont unlock door from far away you only have approx20 seconds to get in and close the door . and like i said the locking funtion is working just fine ,i dont need to cycle the locks at all just close the door and hit the lock button and they lock just fine.
mine has started to auto-arming all the time now even with JP1 jumpered after cycling the keyless entry one time its starts doing it again even after unplugging unit to make it stop......

my issue is just with the light/siren of the alarm side going off when not supposed to ,see previous post......this is the alarm system not just the keyless entry!

I've found you dont need to cycle the locks manually. Just hit the unlock button on the remote and when you hit the lock button again thell lock just fine.
