I must say, with my exhaust, it is extremely nasty over 5k, deep and raspy, doesn't sound cheap or rice at all. You can control the level of obscenity by staying in the low rpm range easily though. But when it's time to get down.... it gets down. It even pops nicely on the down shift, or sometimes just letting off of the gas.
