Just ordered one. Glad to support an e30 enthusiast rather than an aftermarket knock off. Now to find an ICV...

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I noticed it said T-shaped icv when I ordered. I have a few of both, but which is it?

Anybody find a source for the single line vacuum check valve (Part Number 34331156703 - pictured in post above), for less than 25.99 + shipping? I prefer to use genuine parts on my car, but at that price its hard not to go generic.

I saw it listed places, but the part has been superseded with the more expensive part. I suspect if I order it I will get a notification of the change after the fact, but I will give it a try and report what happens. Usually when I order superseded or extremely oddball parts from an online retailer that lists them as available, I end up getting a backorder or nla notice after a day or two. I have had this happen repeatedly with ECS (parts show as available on their site, but are in fact 3-5 weeks out or NLA).

Order placed 5/29. We'll see what happens.

Update: Emailed at 3pm, 4 hours after the order, that the part has been superseded, and costs 20.82. At least its cheaper than where I found it elsewhere, but as I suspected, the $6 part isn't available anymore.

That sucks. The pic above on my car is actually still the old dual one. I just replace the line with some heater hose.
