Has anybody used different mounting hardware?

I have a brand new iS lip and a brand new valance all off the car right now.

I was thinking about drilling pilot holes on the lip, using the splitter as a template then using some small bolts w/ nuts to mount it on

the texture on it is really cool too, wasn't expecting that. but it looks nice.
