I honestly hadn't planned on installing this kit immediately. So, I just procrastinated and failed to look up everything that i have to buy to make it all work. I'll eventually get around to it, but, it does take a fair amount of money to make it all happen, and i have other things in my life, and other projects (m50 swap) on my car that need to happen.
Btw, The e30 master cylinder prop valve should supply the proper brake bias to the new setup, right? Because, here in the US mil side of germany, they do a 4 corner stop test to ensure that your brakes are even with each side, and the bias is around 70/30.
I lucked out I got used front e46 M3 calipers, carriers and lines for $100 and E39 528i rears with carriers and lines for $60. Used is the only way I found to get calipers and carriers at a decent price. You can rebuild the caliper pretty easily and cheaply yourself, as long as the pistons aren't corroded.
I wish I remembered where I saw the information on the e28 hub....
I believe the e28 rear hub works, except for the abs ring.
I don't have ABS, nor do i plan on installing it. I'll look around and see if i can find a thread confirming the e28 to e30m3 hub.
Also, I'm having trouble finding brakes. It would literally just be easier and cheaper for me to buy reman'd calipers at oreillyauto or autozone, but the issue would still come down to finding the brake carriers. and (RapeYourWallet) turner motorsports sells used ones for $100/per. I'm looking out for a decent pair on both US and DE Ebay. But, a lot of people are only selling rear calipers.
I viewed JIMBOkye's parts list, and i noticed that the rear setup seems to be a large chunk of change more than the front, mainly because the e30 m3 stuff is difficult to find used.
So, is there any cheaper way for this?
