Carbon Airbox and Alpha N GB 2016 - S14-S50-S54-S65

2016 group buy for carbon intake systems (aka CF airbox), currently in progress.

These CF airboxes are hand made here in Germany. Applications range from "fast road" to race. The airboxes have been deployed on many different cars and run at tracks around the world, including the famous Nuerburgring Nordschleife.

Airboxes are being manufactured now and shipping as they complete (in batches). So if your order is in early, you will receive your airbox earlier. Typical lead time from order to dispatch is approx. 2-3 weeks. We have not yet set a closing date (most likely approx. Dec. 15)

There are various carbon fiber airbox systems and air plenum intakes available. The airbox systems include snorkels and install kits where required. Some of the versions available:

Options for engine installations into different chassis: EWS delete, speed signal delete, DSC delete, Cat monitoring delete, Alpha N mode, VMAX disable, etc. Drive-by-wire (electronically controlled TBs) can be retained when installing engines in different chassis.

E30 versions of the S50 and S54 airboxes have shorter intake snorkels for E30 application. Both airbox variants also work in E36 and E28 chassis. The new S50 version allows to use an internal air filter just like the S54 version does. With the air filter being internal this allows easier/simpler airbox installation and the airbox is larger in volume as well.

BTW, we can reprogram the factory MSS54 + MSS54HP ECU (for s54 airbox installs). The MSS54 can be upgraded to MSS54HP with larger memory chips.

Wow this looks awesome, and I am definitely interested. I have a few questions about intake and the brake booster on the S54 in an E30. In the pics you show it looks like you angled the build on the intake to fit the booster better. What booster is that in the pic?

There are different boosters being used. That one went to the UK and I believe he used a booster from a ford van. Others have also used one from a renault clio which is smaller. The airbox had an indentation to help clear the larger booster.

Yes, S50 refers to the euro motor. You need to have ITBs. Its been done before also on an M50 engine (with ITB).
