Definitely waiting up to see yours. Wish I had had the funds to partake in this. I had a Stromung catback on my E36, but steered away from one on the E30 as I wanted to maintain the angled tip look.
Just arrived today! Was a bit confused when I first opened the package. But label was clear and pics don't lie. Lucky enough to have an existing strömung straight 325i exhaust on my convertible. Note the tips are angled off the rear muffler but come out straight from the car when mounted

Here's the angled/MT1 325i exhaust that Scott finally agreed to make (tips unwrapped)

    And great packaging

My mtech1 rear apron is still in the shop so I'm gonna hold off mounting for a while.

i received mine (325i) a while back (4/19 iirc) but recently got back from vacation.

Tried to install it but the 30 year old catback bolts are rusted solid. :D

Gonna try the torch and wax method or just take a sawzall to the bolts.

Damn it!! Bought one from the last group buy and can't believe there is a slanted tip option now! Much prefer the stock look! I emailed him and apparently he doesn't sell the tips separately! Why Scott why!??

finally got mine installed today. I had to cut the bolts off using a dremel and cutting disks.

I only had a chance to fire it up. It actually sounds a little quieter than the old OE exhaust, which goes to show how rusted out it must be lol.

Not sure about the 325 system but on the 318 you don't need the lower bands for hangers it just bolts to the muffler from the top band. Once you get some miles on it they open up and louder. Mine is noticeably louder but still not to loud its perfect for my liking.

ok, thought I didn't need the lower bands. Some of the holes weren't quite lining up correctly but I'll make the adjustments when i get the chance to again.

I'm wrong - you need the oem top band on the 325i mount. Just confirmed on my existing install. It's the lower you don't need. Sorry for any confusion.

Anyone looking to sell a 318is exhaust?
