took a little massaging of the forward outside muffler tab (closest to wheel; had to pry it so it matched the angle of the band bolt) but I got the muffler mounted up the way it's supposed to. Thanks for head's up! Can't wait to drive it tomorrow.

Just to update: I figured out my install issues with help from Scott at Stromung. Just needed to readjust a few things. Very helpful folks!

I do love the sound of this catback and as others have noted it gets deeper as it breaks in.

Any recommendation on what exhaust pipe flange adapter to use to connect the 325i stromung version? My cat was welded in the exhaust system.

Just installed mine last night and I'm super happy with the fit and finish, it took minimal adjustment (I found that rotating the front section of the catback adjusts the tip fitment left and right) to get the tip perfectly centered in the valence cutout. Initially I thought the tip was a little large but it looks great once installed.

I'm so interested but don't have the money right now. Maybe by end of summer or over the winter I will be able to commit to it though!

Not to mention the exchange rate for us up north is a major killer of buying anything from the states right now.

my 325i system arrived a couple days ago and i just got back from getting it installed at the local muffler shop. the guy said that this was probably the nicest system he's ever seen for a vintage bmw. he said that he was super impressed with the sound and that its not just loud but has a lot of tone and richness when you rev it. i told him that it was between this and maybe a supersprint for a little more and he said that having seen plenty of those, this stromung was hands down a better system in every way, from sound to build quality and fitment. having got it on my car now i cannot recommend this system enough. seriously it is such a night and day difference from my old system and it totally changes the driving experience.

to anyone on the fence about doing this, please do yourself a favor. ive been thinking about purchasing this for years and now im kicking myself for not having done it sooner.
