You don’t need the adapters but you do need the angled tip 325i exhaust. Check out the pics I shared on post 45 and you’ll see Scott’s prototype angled exhaust with a red mtech2 rear. The traditional 325 Strōmung exhaust exits the car with straight tips. Scott’s angled exhaust fits MTech2 without the adapters.

Call Scott and talk to him though to confirm everything. His work is outstanding Good luck

For anyone interested in the angled Strömung cat back, the ones shipped this past spring are not angled enough for an mtech1 rear valance.

Here was Scott's original angled tip prototype on a car with mtech2 valance


Here's @tvance306's car with an mtech1 rear and the angled catback


Scott's offered some adapter tips, but they are single wall (the angled cat back is also single wall).
Here's the background info on that.
