Anyone Interested in Genuine carbon fiber door handles?

This summer I got a internship at a aerospace machine shop, they specialize in cutting really big titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum parts for f16's and the like. My boss is a huge BMW nut and offered me the opportunity to have a part for my E30 cut on one of the machines. I've used metal molds and carbon fiber in the past and experienced good result's, this leads me to believe I can deliver a solid replica of E30 door handles made out of pure carbon fiber. Their's probably no practical reason to do so besides looking and feeling really cool. My rough estimate of prices would probably hover around 120$ for a pair. And i could probably do custom color weaves for a little bit extra

TLDR: If I made door handles out of carbon fiber would anyone buy them?

If it were really well done I would consider.

Make one so we can see how it turns out

I'd probably be interested, would depend on prototype pictures.

I would be down if I had more carbon fiber trim on my car in the first place lol. I feel like if I just had carbon fiber on the door handles it would be ricer. Its a good idea tho for people that like carbon fiber and/or have trim already installed somewhere on their car

Would they fully replace the handle? Or just be a ‘cap’ ?

Thanks for the interest guys, I'll definitely be moving forward with the project. And it would completely replace the door handle. Not sure if I'm going to do the inside door handle. There pretty flimsy, if I have the time I'll probably build a mold for a inside handle as well.
