While I don't have a set of Mel's grills. I did buy some cheap copies a while back likely from the same supplier and they were great. They've been on my M3 for 10 years. The only way I could tell the difference was the backside but you don't see this side anyway.

they're cheap copies. what else can you say? (yes, I have a set, and have had a couple sets of real ones - they are far and away lower quality).

I never complained because A) every time I bought a new set of real ones, somebody would back into me and break them, and B) they're half the price.

I'd still rather pick up a set of real ones though..

I got mine the day after I ordered them and I have no regrets whatsoever. Transformed the front end (even if non-E30 people can't tell a difference).

No issues with mine. Sits flush and made a nice difference in the front end appearance.
