    PLANTED/ OMP aftermarket seat brackets

I want to know if anyone here is using these. Do they work well for fitting aftermarket seats?

I had that setup before with my Status bucket seats. The planted floor mounts are awesome and sturdy. The OMP sliders are pretty much like any other sliders.

Interesting. I have to start hunting, even with my e36 seats full down, and Kadunza brackets, I don't have enough room to fit in car. Slicktop and the lowest mounting seat option for 42"+ waist, here I come.

That might be BraveUlysses, I think he had 1 for sale.
I have them in my race car, very good quality.

fwiw,i think they are too tall for my application and I'd like it to be lower.

I run them in 3 of the PRO3s we've built and I have seen them in lots of others we maintain. They are legal in ICSCC, SCCA and NASA. Great quality.

Now I just wish someone would make a slider that is worth a damn.

Are the E36 seats any lower than e30 sport seats?
I'm 6'3 and in the iS with the seat all the way down, my head is ~1/4" from the sunroof cartridge. My slicktop iX has some shitty old bottom mount Cobra fixed backs hard mounted to the floor(happens to be the perfect spot), and I have ~8" to the roof.

these brackets are pretty low. Ive ran e36 seats in an e30 and they seem a bit lower as well. I would say 1/2 inch maybe 3/4 at most. it is noticeable.
