you dont want these unless it snows. you will wear them out.Originally posted by BrewPrice on 205/55 or 205/60 Hakka's please?
And how are they on dry roads? I don't want to give up too much performance for the winter.
Its basically between these and the dunlop winter sport m3's.My mountains are better than yours.Comment

You will be fine in the dry weather with the Hakka 2s. If you juse use the tires for the winter months expect to get about 3 seasons maybe more from them.
JUST UPDATED with offical priceing in first post. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Hakka's are not offered in those sizes with a 15in rim. You can get them in a 185 or a 195 for a 15in rims that that would be better than a fat 205 winter tire. You will have pleanty of traction with eather choice.Originally posted by BrewPrice on 205/55 or 205/60 Hakka's please?

Whats the hold up with decideing between the two?? Do you want the best winter tire our there or not? There is no comprimize when compairing Nokian tires to any other manifacture. :!:

Well since it doesn't snow all that much here, I want a tire that still retains some dry road performance. The Dunlops pretty much fit the bill with a relatively high speed rating and good dry grip and I'm wondering if Nokian has anything that compares.Originally posted by grapedrinkHakka's are not offered in those sizes with a 15in rim. Nokian is rated up to 125mph. If you have an e30 that is going to go faster than that with snows then you are one crazy dude. The Hakka 2s do perform well on dry pavement. Here in Colorado we don't get that much snow next to the foot hills so it only stays for a cupple of days on the ground and then its dry until the next storm. You are perfectly fine running the tires all winter long.Originally posted by BrewWell since it doesn't snow all that much here, I want a tire that still retains some dry road performance. Those are the final prices.

I might be interested in a (4) 195-60-15 Hakka 2's.
Have you found anything out about the shipping rates? I might be able to get them cheaper from a local shop.
I'll let you know eitherway. I've been looking at getting Nokian's for a while now and I expecially want a set now that I have a 325iX.Current BMW's:

As many of you already know Nokian makes the best snow/ all season tires. I am personally putting on a set of Hakka 2s on my car this winter as a full snow. You will not be disapointed with the set of tires. If you need a new set of snow shoes for the winter Nokian tires are the best. Just ask any person who has them on their car wha they think about them.
If you ahve questions please ask. You may call and talk to eather Bob or my self to place an order or if you have questions.
PRICE and size for the stnadard E30 rims.
185-70-14 Hakka 2 $80
195-65-14 NRW $84.50
195-60-15 WR $99
195-60-15 Hakka 2 $114
Studs for the Hakka 2 $15 per tire
Shipping and handeling will be a standard $15 a tire.
I will update when new sizes are wanted.
