They don't make hakkas in 195/65-14? Since when?

Must have changed that this year. I just got mine on today and played in the snow.

Nope because you are going to a taller side wall with a thinner tire. Same rolling size as stock.

I don't know when they stoped but are they Hakka 2 or Hakka 1? If you look on the web site they don't show that tire size. The recomended tire size for E30s are the ones i have listed. ;)

I am very interested in this group buy. I live out in the very southeast end of Boise, where there are not a lot of cars rolling through here. It'd be a bitch to get to school on my potenzas I have now. Kris told me I'd need 195-65-14 NRW $84.50. Let me know what you all decide to do!

tire width shouldn't have anything to do with speedometer, its all dependant on sidewall heigth.

i don't think those numbers are right... someone pleease clarify this..

Hey Tara the prices are for anyone who wants them. You can buy the tires at anytime. Just call us or PM me to work out payment options.

                Kruzan fallow this link.

http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html <------- enter in any tire size you want to compair.

                "100 mph (160.90 kph) 99.11 mph (159.46 kph) -0.89 mph (-1.44 kph) "

                "40 mph (64.36 kph) 39.64 mph (63.78 kph) -0.36 mph (-0.58 kph) "

That is compairing the 195s to the 185s. You are going to be off by .36mph at 40mph. Your speedo is going to be farther off by switching different brands of tires. There is no standard tire size/standard saying that this size of tires must be exactly these dementions. Just look at a 205 Azenis sport and a 205 BFG. I have said enough.

siping, tread design, and presence of studs (1's have more IIRC)

As mentioned, 195/65-14 is the proper size. Any other size offered will alter your speedometer. The profile is a function of both the sidewall and the tread width, so when either number increase, it alters everything.

Just a newer model and what was mentioned above. Hakka 2s are able to have studs installed.

ANY tire that did not originaly come with the car (OEM) will alter your speedo reading. That is because as i stated above every manifactures sizes will differ from one to another.

Yes, but a 185/70-14 tire will change the speedo much more than running a Michelin or Bridgestone 195/65-14

It all depends on the tire. We are talking about .3mph and that can vary from manifacture. If you are going to be that picky then change your tires every 1k miles because tread wear will throw it off. Do what you want but those are the proper sizes for the E30 models. Lets get this back on topic ;)

Can you improve the shipping cost? $60 for 4 seems kinda high...Thanks.
