Ya, screw the indented ones for the shift sticker, do the no shift pattern or engraved pattern and be done with it. I want my knob, no more changes, lol.

How large is the flat portion on the top going to be? I'll trust your judgement to not make it so large that it becomes uncomfortable.

        Can't wait to see pics!

The flat part on top is going to be about 1.1" diameter. The edge will be noticable, but not sharp.

Sounds awesome. Any idea on when we'll get to see some pics?

I sent you an e-mail with my custom idea. Please let it wait if it needs to, I don't want people waiting because of my custom shifter! Thanks alot!

Oh and also, one note, I'd like mine to be the same style as Dan's, but not as heavy, is that possible?

Sounds good Chris, I do want mine clear anodized too, it didn't say that on your little list there but I know you know that.

Would it be cool if I mailed you a business check then? PM me your mailing address.

                Thanks, Matt

jeez, give me some time to get these done, stop hassling me about them every hour. I work over an hour from home, and it really sucks to stay late because traffic gets even worse later. I have been working 7-5 every day and don't have time to work on my own projects much. Also, I have to put my stuff on the machines in between paying jobs so that I am not costing the company money by tearing down and re-setting up jobs. I have maybe 1-3 hours a week to work on this stuff. I never promised delivery right away (altough it IS taking longer than I thought) and I am trying to take care of lots of things at once (I run the shop, I and 2 other machinists do about $50k/mo in mostly prototype work- the bulk of it is satellite parts and medical devices.) So give me a little time! I promise to come through, and I hope it's worth the wait.

I can do the cut that you want, but I can't make any more stainless knobs. Dan's was a pain in the ass. (And cost me almost as much as he got it for.) Your custom cutout is easy, it'll be done at the same time as all the others. I want an extra $10 for it though.
I am not sure what exactly you mean by the same "style" as Dan's; they are all the same size/shape/etc.

Ah I see they're all the same. I thought Dan's was heavier for some reason. I'll pay you that, sounds good. I still would like to see a flat black shifter knob. Thanks!

Dan's was steel, not aluminum. I think a two-pound knob would be a bit overkill, even with a z4 3.0. I can't wait to see the black aluminum ones!

If I like my silver one, there's a good chance I will buy a black one too, lol. :)

You should make a matching e-brake handle for these babies!

I'm very interested in a black anodized, flat top, shift pattern, aluminum shift knob.

I'd love to see some pics when they're done!

I'll keep an eye on this thread though.

                                Thanks!

BTW: Put my name down for one, I'm very intersted in buying one.
