In regard of track duty. It is true that all tracks are not equal brake-wise. Some are very hard on brakes as they may have a lot of very slow corners with very short straight sections, which requires hard application of the brakes, and not much cooling in between. Such a track could be Calabogie in Ontario. Very, very hard on brakes.
Tracks like Mosport and Watkins are extremely easy on brakes as there are very few braking zones and many long straights in between, to allow cooling down the rotors. I was even told by customers that the Race kit can barely reach proper operating temp at Watkins. So, different pads should be used.
Maybe the persons who went in the original GB for the 280mm kit can let us know what their experience is, so far. Fiddle has an M50 motor and uses BP20 pads...
