i don't know, but that is for another thread.
i will not crap on lee's thread or try to take business from him.

if enough people seem interested. i might do one.

talk to lee first for the calipers, it is his kit and he did all the work to put it together.

Hi buddy. I have absolutely no problem if anyone wants to start a GB on Dynapros.
If you guys want, you can even contact John Robertson at Emery Motorsport for GB pricing. He is my supplier and has them in stock. He is flexible pricewise.

If he was worried about people buying calipers separately then i dont think he would sell just the brackets =P They are kinda worthless without purchasing the calipers. I think it would actually HELP the sale of the brackets TBH.

Lee, how would you rate the BP-20 pads in compairison to the porterfield R4-s pads?

i have had great luck with the Andy's pads, but no experience with the wilwood compound.

i like the low dust, low noise (squeel), low rotor wear, and how well they work from cold.

i am looking for a pad like that in wilwood if i can.

let me know if you don't mind a group buy via pm and i will start one, maybe i can help you sell more brackets......i don't care either way and don't want to do anything to negatively effect your business.

edit...i guess i type too slow. ok i will put together something to see if enough people are interested to make it worth it.

The truth. Indeed my business plan is to concentrate on designing kits, and manufacturing/wholesaling the "installation kits" while shops distribute them and offer the Wilwood components. If I could avoid selling rotors/calipers/pads, I would be happy (in fact, that is how I started, but people wanted one-stop shopping).

BP20s are street pads that will widthstand sporty canyon driving but will wear fast at a track event. B compound is more track oriented and can stay hotter without melting. My all time high grip favourite is the H compound. Not to be used with street tires. But no experience with Porterfield.

Also, I don't want people to be disapointed, but while the Dynapro is very good, and a much better caliper than the stock crap, and even if it was advertized as a full-race caliper by a competitor (that we seem to have lost out of sight), it is not as track worthy as a Superlite. And for at least two reasons. The Superlite is stiffer and offers better modulation. The Superlite pads are twice as thick and offer more surface (and therefore more friction).

BTW Whoever want to start a GB on complementary parts is welcome to do so. Just start another thread after checking with the website owners if it is okay. And if anyone is interested in wholesaling Massive installation kits, please contact me. PS Check Bimmerforum as Apex (Eddy from the Arc-8 fame) will soon have a GB on e36 and e46 kits .

any chance these will fit under sportmaxx 501s?

I doubt it, since the stock caliper bracket is already really close to the spokes.

thanks Lee, i did not want to step on anyones toes.

what wilwood pad would you recomend for a "hot street pad"

i have no plans to track the car, but i do drive it hard on the street and occasional road trips when conditions permit it.

i am looking for a pas that works well from cold, is some what quiet squeel wise, low dust, low rotor wear, and somewhat long lasting.

the r4-s pads are all this. they are a carbon kevlar compound. before i buy a set from porterfield for the new calipers, i was wondering if wilwood offers a similar compound. if not i will just order them from andy.

BP20s are what you are looking for.

Lee: I dont think anyone expects this to be a hardcore track setup since this is the "street kit."

Giani Verelli was able to fit the Street kit under 15" iX BBS stockies. I saw some pictures and it seems to work well. But for the SportMax, I can't say if they will match or not. Fiddle tested the BP20 pads on his M50 e30 in the dead of winter, and even cold, they worked nice. BP20 for street duty is great.

So-oo, does that mean one may be able to buy the sport/race and rear kits bit by bit in the future?

Sport and Race kits are available as "installation kits" (no rotors, no calipers, no pads). Meaning you get to pay $650usd and can collect used calipers or wait for deals on rotors. But honestly, the current $1050usd price for any of the kits is still a great deal as they are very potent kits. More expensive versions available. After the current batch is sold, I will update the kits to floating units and prices will go up...

so this is going to be a 1 time deal thing on the 11" corrado brake kits?

or at least the caliper mounts?

I absolutely agree Lee, your prices are very fair. But between the house, wife and kids it's pretty difficult to carve out a fair amount of money at any given time, especially for a "luxury" item.

I'm sure I'm going to be very happy with the street setup.
