I will take you up on that offer. Do me a favor and let me know if they're ATE of gerling, so I can order the seal kits now.

Guys everything I need is on the way, excluding the calipers I should have everything Monday. I should have a final price by the middle of the week, and I'll be able to cycle 2 sets, possibly 1 black; 1 red. I already have a bunch of "mirror black" on the way, along with "wagon red", just lemme know if you guys would prefer a more satin black, and if it's even worth my while to keep a red set in stock.

      Girling.

I would REALLY prefer a satin black, but any black will work. No-way on red for me, please.

Do me a favor and respond to my PM with an email address or phone number so we can make this happen. I have them ready to go and could ship out in a hurry, if you get me some contact info!

I am also highly interested. I would prefer satin black. Let me know when you are able to get some calipers.

Hmmm, this is the gloss black I'm shooting right now. If everyone prefers satin black I can certainly grab that instead, I just figured this would get a better response than satin.

That looks just fine to me, if you already have the materials.

I can ship my calipers to you as soon as tomorrow. I sent you an email.

I was wondering how progress is going with this. Do we have to send you calipers for rebuilding or can you source them and rebuild them?

I think that you can do it either way, but of course, the cost would be more for him to provide them without a core set.

I just sent him mine this week. I will post pics/feedback once I get them.

I plan on keeping a core set in stock at all times. If you wish to purchase my service I will mail out a set to you with a return label and a reusable package, when you return a set of calipers to me your core charge will be refunded.

As Patrick stated he sent me a set of calipers which I received late Friday, I'm working on getting those back out to him so he can share his opinion to the rest of you guys. I've also ordered a new vibratory tumbler, so I can achieve more uniform results, without the troubles of sandblasting, hoping Patrick will be happy with the results so I can be of service to the rest of you.

I would be in need of calipers since I have no cores to send you. How much would it be for that?

So I'm about ready to break my foot off in Harbor Freight/Winters ass. I'm pretty much at a stalemate right now, as condensation from my compressor has caused the sand in my cabinet to freeze into unusable chunks. I have an order for a vibratory tumbler media in place, but for some unknown reason the order was shipped from the California warehouse as opposed to one of the New York locations. Apparently it is going to take until Tuesday for it to reach my door step. Sorry for the delay guys, but I'm going out to work on what I can for now, so that I can start getting these out to you.

Holland, I will ship you a set of rebuilt calipers, and charge you a core charge which is TBA. You only have to send me your stock ones after you installed mine. If you mean you have no brake calipers on your car, or otherwise, I have not determined a core price yet, but I should be able to keep quite a stock of them in.

I understand. I don't think you want my old ones though unless you are looking for drums and solid rotor calipers.

Hey, I'm interested in this as well. I have a set that just went in so my old ones are just sitting here ready to get rebuilt.

Let me know final pricing. I don't even really care about the paint, you can leave them regular. Mine are rear Girlings. Feel free to respond or pm me here.

                            Thanks.

To all interested parties, he has maintained contact with me, and as soon as my set comes back, I will post info/pics/etc. in here for all to see.

I would like to thank everyone who expressed interest in my services, but I regret to inform you that do to a family emergency, I will be taking on new responsibilities at home and will not be able to continue to provide this service for some time to come. This is something I would like to do again in the future, hopefully next time with better preparation, so that I may be able to have as fast as a turnaround as possible for you guys. Unfortunately between these new responsibilities, working full time, and going to school full time, I fear I'd end up with a big pile of old calipers and a lot of r3v'ers wondering where they're rebuilt ones are. If individuals are still interested in this service, and aren't under any serious time constraint, feel free to contact me, and I'll let you know of a time-line in which this can be completed.
