If sufficient interest is generated, this will be done on a core basis, I will always keep 1 full set in stock rebuilt so I can send out instantly. Prices will vary weather you are sending me girling or ate calipers, but I imagine pricing will be about $120 per set. Lemme know what you guys think, any questions or comments are welcome.

    Service Provided:

    Calipers Disassembled
    Calipers and Carriers Sandblasted
Calipers and Carriers Powder coated (Silver, Black, or Red)
    Calipers Re-Assembled
    All Seals Replaced
    Dust Cover Replaced
    Sealant Applied to Bleeder
    Anti-squeal Applied to Piston
Any Attached Hardware Cleaned in ultrasonic parts wash
Full service With No Down Time
I think you are moving too slow regarding the rebuilding of the calipers and i have waited enough for the feedback for the calipers and cannot wait any longer. Will probably go with fap 99 and get it over with.....!! Thanks anyways.

This is something I would like to do again in the future, hopefully next time with better preparation, so that I may be able to have as fast as a turnaround as possible for you guys. Unfortunately between these new responsibilities, working full time, and going to school full time, I fear I'd end up with a big pile of old calipers and a lot of r3v'ers wondering where they're rebuilt ones are. If individuals are still interested in this service, and aren't under any serious time constraint, feel free to contact me, and I'll let you know of a time-line in which this can be completed.

I'm glad you're not waiting any longer for me, because you would have been waiting a long time. I thought I made my self clear in that last post, but I guess I should have contacted you specifically?

In the event that he moves forward with this in the future and people want to see his work, I did receive my caliper set, just as agreed.

          Pics:

I have not yet installed them, btu the quality of the coating seems good (certainly better than DIY paint) and the seals all appear to be of good quality.

He maintained constant contact with me and provided me with updates along the way. I will update this thread with more info after install.

I'm mostly interested to hear how they handle the heat from track use.

That is going to be more a factor of your selection of pads, rotors, lines (maybe), fluids, and good bleeding than from the calipers.

A rebuild should restore factory clamping force- nothing more. As long as the seals are installed properly and the pistons are properly cleaned and installed, most of your performance variation will be due to other components.

Heat will get transfered to the caliper no matter what... I understand it depends on what you're using, but still
