I am asking as a buddy runs an S52 (well, the US one) on an OEM e30 rad with no problem. But hey, if the e36 Mishimoto fits, the let's there be e36 rads under the bonnet.
Massive - brackets to fit a 16" Spal fan on e36/e46 rad

I think its more of a "safe assurance" deal. If you get the mishimoto you won't ever have to worry about overheating (generally speaking).
I'm going to pick one up simply because my m42 rad can't handle the NY heat with the a/c on. Needs more cooling capacity and it will be seeing track days.IG: deniso_nsi Leave me feedback here

One way to get rid of a lot of engine heat is to fit an oil cooler. That's like enlarging your radiator by three inches...Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Larger capacity and it bolts in PLUS it is all aluminum... unlike the E30 replacements that I have seen. As said you get a little extra insurance. When my swap was FIRST done on a 90 degree day I was just driving around and idling and watching. This was before the AUX fan was fixed. So no cooling fan at all. While driving temps between 1st line and middle. Stop and idle and the max it got to was just before the 3rd line. Never got past that. Pull off and start driving and it immediately goes back down.I think its more of a "safe assurance" deal. If you get the mishimoto you won't ever have to worry about overheating (generally speaking).

With the factory AUX fan operational the most it goes up is a coochie hair past half way. I don't feel like right now I need an additional fan. I wanted one but it won't fit. There is simply not enough room.

Interesting. I have tested my 13" fan in puller mode on my S14, driving in heavy traffic in the current heatwave and the needle stayed at 12pm, and even a hair to the left.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

That's good information to know. Overtime, the production will adjust to the various sizes of radiators depending on brands. So, instead of making brackets with type of radiator as a reference, I will make them for 430, 440, 465mm etc.
PS - I will forward tracking numbers to everyone this morning by email.
