ok guys i found the one that we need. There is not a cast iron one that will fit the shift lever. here is the link where the collar is: http://www.mcmaster.com/
search for the part # 6436K44

I don't know the weight of it but for $6.88 I am going to buy two or three of them. The collar is black-oxide plated steel (grade 12L14).

This collar will fit above the pictured one (on the fatter part of the shift lever) I could also look for a collar that would be where the one in the picture is to add even more weight!! I would find one right now but I don't have the diameter of the lower part of the shift lever on-hand.

Let me know what you guys think

well i don't know if it would cheaper to for everyone to buy them seperate. it might be best to buy them together with people we live near, so shipping would be cheaper. I live in Greensboro and go to school i Boone, NC and I know people in raleigh so basically if you live in or near Greensboro, NC then I can order yours too. The california people could put one together, too. More than likely mine will be shipped to Greensboro. So if you live closer to Raleigh/Cary then I can get them there and if you are close to boone then i can take them there.

If it get to compicated then either i can buy them all and ship them out or everone can buy them themselves.
