Performance oriented ones, preferrably. What do you vendors got to offer?

I just figured, since that is one of the weakest points in our motors, and all these guys are getting chips and cams and valve springs... the rockers are in trouble. But you guys are right, the aftermarket ones are pricey as hell. If there was an affordable oem one but strengthened so that it could sustain more stress, then it would be all good. I thought I read somewhere that there are reinforced OEM rockers, but I forgot who sold them.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.

look for OEM rockers that have been inspected (x-rayed), shot-peened and possibly polished. MM offers these services, I think it cost around $15-$25 extra per rocker. you can go billet but they are very expensive and pretty much overkill on a street motor..

                  rockers..my idea

I say we get a group together and have MM do those services for us at a discount...Im in. For those of us who run the cars hard at DE or A/X I think its a good move/cheap insurance........better than crazy bucks on rockers for a stock m20. I know w/ my MarkD chip I hit 65, 6600 at the track if Im not paying close attention.....and Ive met many guys who have broken rocker arms at the track.

Id be willing to speak to MM....unless someone here already has a relationship w/ them. BUT...I dont want to jump thru hoops w/ people like so many GB's before. This would be for people who KNOW what they want and understand it.....and are ready to pony up. Give me an idea who could be serious and Ill make a call to MM.

pretty sure they are cheaper from bma

personally I've never had a problem with stock rockers bouncing off my 6900 redline for extended periods of time..

How about we run a double group-buy? Rockers from BMA, then services from MM?

Interesting. It seems that 12 rockers from BMA will run around $200. If MM services are $20/rocker, that adds another $240. Isn't $440 getting close to the price of performance rockers anyways? I guess if the final price is close to the $400 range and these rockers are good for around 7500, then they'll probably suit the needs of most people here.

Also, the BMA quote was for FEBI rockers. Are those OK?

                            Good info.

Not sure what FEBI's are like --- are these the OE rockers? Maybe MM can tell you... ?
