Nando, it would make a difference in that being a moderator puts you at a bigger priority. You're someone he definitely wants to service well because you have sway on this board. A lolely member with a couple hundred posts however could be construed to be not much of an issue and ignored like this without concern. I'm not saying that's what this guy is doing at all, he may just have been evacuated from his shop, but it still leaves him no reason to not log in from any computer to update - especially when he has my money in his posession. I'm going to try and get my money back. Enough waiting around for nothing.

I have filed a dispute with Paypal. I will give him a few days to respond or I will escalate the claim to have Paypal get my money back.

Brian has $190 of mine which I'd like back now. I don't even want the product shipped from this point forward. This is poor service.

This guy doesn't have a "shop," he has a buddy that has something to do with Apexcone directly. When he got me mine I was initially going to meet up with him and pick them up since he's only 30 minutes away. Long story made short, he eventually had them shipped from someone in San Diego because we could never connect. I may still have his cell # floating around. If you need it, give me a PM and I'll try to dig it up.

PS I want to say again that he was a standup guy to me. Ultimately he even gave me a refund for the shipping since it was delayed about a week from when I expected them. I just hope nothing drastic has happened to him or his family in the fires.

Thanks Tim. I'll let you know if I need it. Keep it around if ya have it. I as well really hope that he and his family are ok. I would hate for something to have happened to his home or place of employment and that be the reason this has been delayed...

I heard from him after the fires and it sounded like he was alright, just a bit disorganized... I'm jealous of VacMan though, I waited quite a long time and never got any shipping refund. If I recall correctly understeer.com has free shipping too...

Update: I finally received a PM from Brian today. He has made a call to Apexcone to find out what happened and said he will call me today or tomorrow with an update. I am going to try calling Apexcone myself while I am making others calls on parts being shipped. Just wanted to let everyone know he has at least returned a PM and seems to be trying to figure things out.
