What type of wood you use?

3/4" MDF, "Plum Creek" brand. The boxes weigh about 45 pounds total.

Dan, basically, the deal changed. So many people asked for a box for a single 12 that I stopped developement on the single 10.

Single 10 is gonna be a pain in the ass anyway. If you saw how little room there is for ports into the box or for woofer depth, you would see why. The single 12 box is 2 cubic feet, the single 10 would need to be about 1.5 cubic feet...the room is that close.

So, the single 12 is $150 plus shipping. This includes 2 really nice port tubes, upholstery material and a template to make the back wall. It comes out really clean and terrific sound. Boom if you want it, clean deep bass if that is your goal.

Basically, any woofer with a Qtc of less than .44 will be terrific sound. Over that, bass will be boomy, but really LOUD!
