thanks..he has not seen it yet.
CovallisBMW has a cabby he is SUPPOSED to be dropping off for a year or two so I can doo-do a cabby and make a big killing on subwoofer boxes that take me half a day to make, use $40 in materials and sell for $150...

The titanium 100.4 and the 150.2 + box...and this wouldnt work on a cabby correct?Leave a comment:

The only question is what 2 amps...the Titanium Powers are great, but cheap. If you want the finished panel, shipping would be a hassle, that is why I include upholstery material and a template to make your own back panel.

Would it be possible to bassically buy the box that browntown has with the two amps installed on it? How much?Leave a comment:

Damn, oh well it still sounds awesome I couldn't be happier with the sub box and Luke's workmanship and I don't think I will need to glue the metal screens down to the enclosure.Leave a comment:

Oh shit! You were supposed to put the port panel ON TOP of the speaker panel...under the metal mesh!
Oh well. The "Pretty Panel" simply fits the back of the box, no spacing required...unless you want to flush mount your amps. What I do is make the panel press fit by having it mount tightly against the amps. Cutting them is a PITA, but it is nice.

A few more pictures and a question for Luk
Here are a few pictures of the ports and how they fit with the premium sound rear speaker holes. I had to trim about 1/2" from the tubes to get them to fit within the grills. I think Luke made them a little long to make up the gap that would have existed if I had removed the trunk tar material in any case it wasn't a big deal at all. The question I have is, how did you get the "pretty panel" as you called it to set off of the sub box? Are you using some sort of standoff or spacer? Oh and how do I embed pictures in my post so people don't have to load each pic?Leave a comment:

Dude, the toughest part of a top notch sounding install is the box. Seriously, if you can operate a jigsaw and spray glue, you can have this level of install. It is MUCH harder to flush the amps in like this, but it is do-able.
Remember, the box comes with a template to make that exact panel, except for the amp cutouts.
You should hear that sumbitch, though...it pisses me off that it is so close to mine but so damn cheap!

yer tempting me pretty bad to drive my e30 up to you to have the work done. i hate all the crappy shops in SF, they really do hurt my feelings when it comes to the lack of quality and thoughtfullness in their work.Leave a comment:

Hey guys, bumping this back up, plus showing off a bit.
This is Browntowns trunk. Single Exile "Shift" 12 on a Titanium Power 150.2 amp. makes about 280 RMS on a 4 ohm mono load. This amp RETAILS for $179, I sell them at $150 normally. The 4 channel amp is the 100.4, makes 56 WRMS X4, I sell these for $200.
The crossover/EQ is the AudioControl EQX Series II...fuckjing amazing sound out of this combo. Damn near as good as mine, for less than half of what mine sells for.

This shows over 2 feet of trunk space left:
