    HID Blow Out!

    make things easier, this thread sums it all up and then some:

        So... Apexcone? What's with the prolumen bulb thing though, do they use the same connectors?

            apexcone does not make their HID's, they get them from a manufacture who inturn puts an Apexcone sticker on the HID kits for them. the supplier i spoke to gets them from the same place as Apexcone.

                        my apexcone HID ballasts were embossed... it's not just a sticker. :roll:

                              Hey Dan, I finally picked up and e30 325is, I still have the 540 but its been in the shop for a while now. I have the US ellipsoid headlights on the 325 and im not sure about which kit to get. Are the slimlines better? Also What color bulbs do most people get? 6000k?
