Sounds like it did its job!Mine was over 1/4" when I first installed. Worked fantastic. I would post a current picture but, I took a HUGE hit while driving on some roads under construction and I was unfamiliar with the area. So, it's more like 1/8" of clearance as of right now. I think I was a bit confusing in my original post. I mean to say, I'm removing and giving it a good wack then REINSTALLING.
Eric's skid plate literally saved my S50's oil pan. It did it's job on a VERY, VERY HARD HIT on some shit fucking roads. His skid plate WILL save your oil pan under 99% of normal driving.Last edited by ck_taft325is; 03-24-2011, 05:12 PM.Leave a comment:

hi, i sent you an email via the raceskids site but never seemed to get a reply. i'm in australia and have a 318i so i have an M40 engine. do you have a plate that will suit? also what would it cost for one delivered to me Perth, Western Australia 6155?
