I didn't have any trouble with mine. I reinstalled them upside down (nut at bottom), so that it would be easier in the future to remove the skid plate.

i just installed mine. wish i thought of that. it was a pain to get them back in.

I don't have one for the m10. I would think the S14 plate would work. I have never had one on the rack. Sorry.

It seems like the M10 and S14 pans are interchangeable for the most part so that plate would more than likely work.
