Follow-up. Spent half the day at the CNC shop to supervise production of the caliper adapters. I made a small correction and the 40 units are now ready to be made on Friday. They are very nice and sturdy. Please contact me by PM to take advantage of the introductory offer that will end on Sunday evening. I guess that everyone will go with the nice slotted rotors. Pads will be Q compound for street use, and E compound for track use.

If you want HT10, then I suggest finding a set of Dynalites. I will only offer the kit with Dynapro though. I can't stock every type of caliper.

I have an appointment on Thursday at the CNC machineshop to approve the first bracket, and do corrections if necessary. I will take pictures at that point. After the first 40 units are machined, they will be sent for nickel plating. Orders at the special rate will be taken up to Sunday evening. By Monday morning, the regular price will take over. Kits will ship one week later when payments are received.

Fasteners and spacers are already in.

Completely understandable! My mouth is getting ahead of my wallet anyway and the swap car won't really be seeing much use until spring anyway so a rear kit would be pointless until then... Looking forward to the fronts though, gotta keep busy somehow!

I didn't spend time researching. I will investigate some more after I start selling a few dozens of the front kits. I have a few thousands $ in there already.

A little reminder that we're only 10 days away from the end of the sale. I will receive the 3mm spacers in a couple of days. They are not sold separately and only come with kits.

Calipers are Dynapro. But brackets will also fit Dynalites. And the new Dynapro6
    Blank brand-x rotors - $600usd - Normal price $660usd
Slotted RacingBrakes rotors. Venting in the backside. - $660usd - Normal price $720usd
Pads and hydraulic adapters are included.
Free spacers during that introductory sale.

He, he. Also, Massive is 100% union-free which means that every $ spent with me goes in my capitalist pig pockets. All parts are made in North America.

Thanks for the tip. E brake is 160mm in diameter and about 25mm in width. Honestly, seeing how 300mm.de redrills their rotors, I don't find the process very sexy. I will see how the Z1 rear disc does.

I have seen on another forum an Aussie using Supra ma61 rotors on the rear. The pcd needs to be changed and the center bore needs to be opened up, but I think that the dimensions for the e brake to work properly are there. As far as the dimensions of the rotor itself, I don't recall, but they are larger and vented....

    Hi Eric

I asked Alex Lipovich to measure the depth of that rotor. It might be different from an e30 rear disc. But honestly, if you can get a cheap aftermarket one (if such a thing exists) I'll be glad to take on your offer. Let me know how to proceed. I have already made a mock-up for the rear brackets and it is easy.

BTW For people who have enquired about a 4 pot caliper to upgrade the rear one, while keeping the stock rotor. Hmmm... Not physically possible. I must find a 280mm rear disc with a 160mm handbrake drum. I doubt it will come from a VW as they have very different rear set-ups. Basically, bearings are part of the rear discs.
    the Z1 has 280x10!

lee - I WANT these for my touring beater, but i was going to use my old 325 calipers and a 25mm MC and call it good. hmmm decisions decisions!

Such kits include the adapters, Dynapro calipers, pads, hydraulic fittings (1/8npt to M10 x 1) and machined rotors.

    Brackets are $160 per set.

    Hydraulic fittings not sold separately.

Honestly, I don't want to start making half combos. But rotors will be available ready-machined.
i understand, just trying to get there as cheaply as i can. you know the drill. kind of like the bollywood thing i did for you.

    thanks, lee
