      one quick question

do you think the chip messes with emission? .... i need to go through emissions soon ...

      -------------------------------------------------

i purchased a 173 ecu, 19lb injectors, and also a "new custom intake system" .... so ill get it all setup and ill be waiting for the chip to round it out ... ill be waiting for it to be shipped

      we needs more people!!!

Plenty of Californians are running his chips, so you've got nothing to worry about.

Could these chips possibly cause the cars to get better emission ratings?

Yes you can. Just go to http://www.dsylva-tech.ca/ and order your chip. Make sure you put "R3V-TGB" in the comments box while ordering.

You can add yourself to it. Just copy and paste the current list and then add your name to the bottom in the same fashion as others have done.

Hello Mark,, I got a few questions before I decide to purchase the chip. I have an '92 e30 325i, mostly stock except the exhaust. Instead of performance, I am looking more into gas/mileage savings. Driving habits 65 mph - average of 24mpg on the computer, @prox. of 360 miles on a full tank mostly hwy.
                    1) Does your chip interfere with the onboard computer displaying the mpg, speed, range, etc ?
                    2) Here in Florida, the gas station offers 87,89 and 93 octane... I was looking to purchase the 91 oct option, would this work with our 89 octane gas ? or do I have to go with 93 no matter what ? Have you had any other people going with the 91 using 89 ?
                    3) if I get the 91, I can always put better gas (93) but not lower right ?

                    4) with 25 buyers = 18% discount and u said if you get 12 more..
37 buyers = 21% discount? because we are really close to it .. :firehop:

                        1) it will only interfere if you change the injector size. There's no easy way to correct it if the siza is not 14#.

                        2) only use an ocatne level equal or higher than what the chip is specified as. Don't use 89 octane unless it's all that is available, and then you will have to drive like an old lady till you fill up withj the proper fuel. Nobody uses 89 that I know of. Whay are you asking? The changes that I make to the chip really require 91.

                        3) yes you can use higher octane than 91 but not lower.

                        4)
Yes if I get 37 buyers by Friday, I'll refund 21%, even though the exchange rate has changed by around 2% since last Friday.

And I'm counting all sales, even if no GB code is mentioned. Sales have slowed down this week, but we'll probably get to 37 sales.

All USA orders received by Sunday have been mailed, orders received after that will be mailed this coming weekend. I hope to mail the Canadian orders today.

Mark, when we put the chip into the car, we should have the specified octane level already in the car ready to run, correct?

Definitely, he's said that if you run a lower octane and don't drive like a granny, you'll ping.

What's the best way to "adapt" the new chip, Mark? I've heard that you should flog it once warmed up, and I've heard you should take it easy for a while.

you guys keep calling it a master list, when i dont see the other sales from bfc and e30tech. There are a few more chips sold than 25 by now, i'm sure.
