      Sure, you can install front e36M3 and rear 318ti suspension, but the brakes will be mismatched. Stock e36 325/318 is not better than stock e30. e30 M3 swap is $1800 in parts. Just not worth it.
      There is one reason to go 5 lug that I see and it's that wheels this size 17 x 8 or 17 x 9, are readily available vs having to get in on Group Buys or wheels that have limited quantities and would be hard to replace.

      Other than that, there is no benefit.

                              Unfortunately, you're right. I'll be looking to sell mine soon unless some magical financial fairy bestows a generous gift upon my wallet. I really like these wheels, but sometimes things happen. Nothing against the wheels though!
