No, I guess I worded it funny. The wheels have been here, I'm just waiting for the tires to arrive.

I meant that I'm becoming more impatient waiting for the tires, than I was excited waiting for the wheels. At least with the wheels you kept me updated... I ordered tires Thurs and was told should be here monday, tuesday at the latest. I was like, ok cool... I wait a while today, and then call cause no word. I get another guy I didn't talk to before who said tuesday, possibly wed.... It's not a big deal, I just think its not that hard to be on the same page when it comes to things like this, everyone's looking at the same info.

All I can say about these wheels is....
OH
MY
GAWD
I opened the amazingly well packaged multiple boxes (thanks Eddy!) and found nothing but more cardboard housing the wheels. I quickly took the top one out and proceded to quickly unwrap the layer of plastic and the clever plastic rim protector, and finally the hairnet. HyperBlack is THE hottest color on the planet.
I thoroughly love the ever so slight concave the face has, and how deep the lug area is recessed. Picking one of these up and you can just feel how well it is made. It is also quite light. The center caps are also really neat and go well with the HyperBlack. No Roundels for my set! I cannot wait to get these bad boys mounted. Right now, one of them is chilling on my bed.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied thus far with the expeditious lead time on this Group Buy. Only a few months of patient waiting and mostly forgetting, then remembering and getting excited again.
I would like to thank Eddy for his hard work on giving us steady updates on what was going on with these wheels. I would also like to thank him for putting me in at the last second, and making an extended deadline in case I needed it. Props Eddy.
All that is left to do is order some tires, and have them mounted and balanced, then put them on the E30!
Onto the pics!

So I have the wheels now, and I have my R-Comps. I also have a tire machine. I have no car though.
Except my IX. Is it wrong to put these on my IX?
Yes, yes it is... :-)'89 325is S50 Track Montser

Very cool. The clearance is a bit tighter up front, I kinda wish I had tested the rears now.... I have a spare DD I can use tomorrow, 4 stands and 4 wheels.... I kinda wanna just put the car on stands and bolt all the wheels on lol....
