In situations like that, unscrupulous seller must probably start being paranoiac with each email, PM or phone call. Multiply it by the number of burned deals, and life becomes untolerable. Is that worth a few hundred quids? Really.

I remember reading his thread a while back. I only remembered it because his driveway was so strange.
Seems to me he just used the cash for shipping. Meaning he most likely has the part still but no money to ship it. If he doesnt have the part it seems like he could loan the money from his dad?
