Ground Control only has one email from any of the three email addresses you have. (edit: found more on another hard drive)

Is this the email exchange you are referring to?

    2 front Eibach springs
    2 front upper perches
2 weld on front lower perches are included if you choose a "weld on" kit

All of our threaded sleeves are aluminum and cannot be welded to the steel
              housings.

The weld kit is not a threaded sleeve. It is a weldable "perch" for the
              threaded sleeve.

Was your kit ordered directly from us? I don't see your name in our system.

I've dealt with GC over the last 5+ years, and they've been helpful and have good products. The only downside is sometimes the phones are busy (2003 + 2004 easy to get a hold of but hard summer of '05), but I guess that comes with business... especially when you have customers who need to ask a lot of questions like I did years ago. Plus, they put up with a lot of crap within the community so props for that. Definitely helped this past year getting my setup back together and explaining how to fix things when issues arise.

The kit was ordered on the 28th, with special request for a combined discount and special hardware with the kit.

Three people from Ground Control answered the specific questions in a very timely manner.

The kit was shipped complete, with the correct discount, the correct parts, and with a tracking number on the following day, the 29th.

the "weld kit" uses different tubes and adds weld rings to the kit, plus different instructions.

Also, when camber plates are combined there is different hardware too

Ninja edit: You only get a weld kit if you specifically ask for it. the default is NON weld kit.

He said he only got the perches. Which was when the sarcastic e-mail came about.

So say i was going to order the weld kit. how much extra is it and what comes with it. if i were to order the weld kit and i didnt weld it, does it affect anything? This is a question coming from me and not colorlesss because im about to order coilovers.

I have nothing but good things to say about Ground Control.

I called and talked to John a few weeks back about getting different upper spring hats for my new shocks. He knew exactly what I was talking about and even got the parts ready for when I called back with my credit card info. I couldn't find the time to call for a few days, but when I called back, he remembered my name and what I was ordering instantly and sent them out that day.

I got them today and was slightly confused about how they install, so I called GC to ask. I got John again, he remembered my name and info yet again, and he explained to me the correct way to install them and the reasoning for it.

That's good service in my book.

The weld kit cost exactly the same.

two parts are added (the weld rings)

                                instructions are different

the threaded tubes are s-l-i-g-h-t-l-y different because a NON weld kit will always be a street car, but a WELD kit can be a street car or a race car. (But in reality, the tubes can be interchanged with no problem at all.)
