If I was in the financial position to, I would. It's just seriously fucked up that someone could do this to another persons car, and then charge him six fucking grand! It's ridiculous. Maaco didn't even do that bad of a job on my Peugeot 10 years ago.

I think the evidence is clear that Yan has been wronged and Vlad's behavior in this regard deserves a ban.

I'm sorry it turned out this way, but I support your (and the rest of the moderators) decision.

I'd be very happy to send Yan a small Paypal donation to show my support and perhaps make him feel a little better about the situation, if you don't think that would be inappropriate or misconstrued.

Someone should make Yan-3 stickers or something with all the proceeds going to his new paint job, Similar to the Mucci stolen car situation. I doubt he would want to become a charity case without something going back to the community. I know i wouldn't.

P.S. I vote Yan-3 for a moderator, his professionalism, and even-keeled demeanor is very admirable despite how screwed he got.

Agreed. Yan has stated he can afford this loss, so I would say this is more a chance to show support for a respected member of r3v, not charity.

I've experienced bad service before with body work and paint (not with vlad) and know how much it sucks. What happened to him is clearly wrong and inexcusable. I feel for you Yan.
